Wildlife Rehab Lorena

Wildlife Rehab Lorena is  501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to aiding sick, injured and orphaned wildlife in McLennan County and surrounding areas. We are a small group of rehabbers that are state and federally licensed to care for small and large mammals, waterbirds, songbirds, and raptors. We rehab and release over 700 animals a year.

Donate Now

We rely on donations from caring individuals to accomplish our mission.  There is no state or federal funding for wildlife rehabilitation.  Thank you for supporting our efforts!

We are volunteers!!

Wildlife Rehab Lorena relies on members of the public to transport animals to our facility.  Due to the volume of wildlife we intake, it is impossible for us to pick up or rescue animals.  We have a network of other rehabbers across Texas.

WRL now has educational wildlife on display and are attending events around the Waco, TX area.

Please contact us by phone or email to ask about our educational animals.

In the news

Sometimes we get some amazing stories and make appearances in the local news channels!  This also helps encourage pubic support because we cannot do this alone!
